Last May, I took down the Clownsweater pages after a lot of people (1.7 million, give or take a few) decided to visit the site one day. This surge exceeded both my webhosting budget and my webhost's traffic limits, so the images are now all living here:

Re: Here Now
Wed, March 23, 2005 - 6:40 PMI think the URL got posted on Fark.com and snowballed from there.
I looked at the weblogs and was amazed to find hits coming from places like Malta, Tuvalu and Andorra. Japan was a popular place from which to view the Clownsweater, but the Belgians, Germans and Canadians turned out to be the biggest fans. -

Re: Here Now
Tue, April 26, 2005 - 2:20 PMI will be in Nicaragua in June, but somehow I doubt I will be able to find anyone willing to get into the sweater down there. It is really, really hot there this time of year.
Maybe a trip the UN or several Bay Area consulates would be a manageable alternative for now. -

Re: Here Now
Wed, May 4, 2005 - 7:38 PMI am going to drink rum and make the locals laugh when I try to dance merengue. I will probably also eat fried cheese and might buy another roadside iguana to set free. -
